The Philiharmonic Hall.
The Bootleg Beatles join forces with the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra, celebrating the Beatles. Tuesday 21st July at 7.30 pm. Tickets £47.50. The seats are in the upper circle at the side. The show has almost sold out and these seats are the only ones available.
Last Wednesday’s presentation by Bob Humour, was a brilliant expose of the works and times of Michael Faraday. High tech questioning and shed loads of information was well received. More info can be found here

The Supper Club for April is on Tuesday 28th April at The Fat Italian in Ormskirk at 6.30. For those of you who have put your names on the list the price and menus are now available.

We will be visiting our local Atkinson Gallery to view local art work. This is always a good interesting event. Hopefully we will have a guide but not confirmed as yet.

For those who have put your name down for the The Fat Italian in April we have been advised that the restaurant changes their menu each month so currently we do not have either their Menu for April or the cost. We will receive this early April but as there is no coffee morning on 7th you will need to call on Tuesday 14th April and choose your menu and pay.
Hello We have a few return taxi places available on this trip @ £18 as it is quite a steep walk up to the gallery. Contact Maureen or Jan before Friday.
Arrangements are in hand to visit the former Art Deco Liverpool Airport (now Crowne Plaza Hotel) and the Heritage Aircraft Museum We will have a tour internally at the hotel where we will be able to view lots of interesting art and posters from when the building was Speke Aerodrome and the original staircase which goes to the first floor , A further guided tour will include probably the hangar which is currently used by the David Lloyd Leisure Group as well as the exterior of the terminal building including some detail on the terminal building and the glazing detail on the front of the hangar , we may do an exterior walk around the second hangar which is used by the Very Shopping Group.
I have arranged for a soup and sandwich lunch (4 sandwich choices) , members can pay extra for tea/coffee or a soft/alcoholic drink
We will then be shown around the Aircraft Collection and original airfield layout , if any member so wishes they can “fly the simulator” at extra cost
