A really nice Christmas outing. Royal Exchange Theatre, Manchester, Saturday 12th December at 2.30 pm. Stephen Sondheim’s A Little Night Music.
Tickets on stage level, £67.00. A lot of money but it is a brilliant show. Songs; Send in the Clowns, A Weekend in the Country.
We will go in a minibus, which will be extra, leaving Maghull in the morning to allow time for shopping and lunch at one of the many restaurants in the vicinity.
There are 14 tickets available which will have to be paid by 14th May.
Members who are taking a taxi transfer from Maghull Square are to note that the taxis will leave the square at 9.30am , please arrive in time to board the taxi

National Museums Liverpool (NML) is celebrating its 40th anniversary in 2026 with a free exhibition at World Museum starting 3 April 2026 – showcasing 40 items from its seven venues. Formed in 1986, NML is England’s only National Museum group outside London, having welcomed 80 million visitors over four decades.
We will be visiting Pierhead venue sometime in June.DTBA , no tour available . However we can visit independently as an Art Group and enjoy to the full, as we usually do. Booking with Maureen and Jan Tuesdays at u3a.

PLEASE NOTE if you are on this trip tomorrow the Dodds Lane entrance to Leighton Avenue/Towers Ave. Is closed as it is being resurfaced. If you plan to park in this area the access at the Costa Coffee end will be open. It seems that Green Lane is closed as well.

The Bootleg Beatles join forces with the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra, celebrating the Beatles. Tuesday 21st July at 7.30 pm. Tickets £47.50. The seats are in the upper circle at the side. The show has almost sold out and these seats are the only ones available.
