Carvers Hill Estate Vineyard tour and tasting 2 wines with snacks (90 minutes) , Limeburn Hill Vineyard tour and tasting 3 wines with snacks (90 minutes) and Larkhill Vineyard tour , tasting 2 sparkling wines and 2 still wines with snacks (2 hours 30 minutes)

Visit to 1 Stonehenge and 2 Old Sarum ( first fortified around 400 BC) massive iron age ramparts , a Norman castle and foundations of a former cathedral – English Heritage. further visits to 3 Bath and Royal Baths , 4 Dyrham Park (a 17th century baroque house , formal garden and dramatic parkland _ National Trust and finally 5 a full day at Longleat including maybe the stately home , a drive through safari , maze , boat ride etc

Hall Road to Waterloo via Little Crosby 26/03/26

We met at Hall Road Station for today’s walk. The weather had lived up to its forecast and we had clear blue skies. Setting off inland along Hall Road East we passed a square set building with crenellated tops to its walls giving the impression of a fort. At the end of the road we joined a wide tarmacked path flanked by a field on one side and a tall hawthorn hedge on the other. The path is known as Dibb lane.
