Sat.2lst November dawned bright and sunny and all 57 of us boarded our comfortable
Lochs and Glens coach bound for Arrochar in the Trossachs with a couple of comfort stops on the way.  We arrived at the Hotel Ardgarten – Wow!  It was superb.  Amazing views right down Loch Long, beautiful decorative  Christmas Trees, spacious comfortable bedrooms , good food, friendly staff and good company.  We visited Oban, Inverary, the busy City of Glasgow, Fort William – where we had our complimentary lunch, also in a Hotel  belonging to Lochs and Glens, but I think we all agreed not a patch on our Hotel. Each evening we had entertainment, quizzes, competitions and on one night a game of Bingo, where the top prize was £l00 – sadly no one in our party won it. On Wednesday 25th November we returned home and back to “what’s for dinner”.  I think we all enjoyed our break and now the problem is next time – how do we beat that Hotel?  With difficulty!!
