The Christmas Lunch will be held at The Academy Restaurant as previous years (not Albany Restaurant)
Arrangements have been agreed with The Alabany (Albany not Alabany) Restaurant to hold the Christmas Lunch on Thursday 15th December
Members should visit the Architecture for Fun desk to determine whether a place is available (consideration will be given to those members who have supported Architecture for Fun and Wine Tasting throughout 2022)

Hi all, due to the cancellation of the meeting last Monday you may have images for that meeting so we have decided to combine the “Landscape” with the “Still Life “ subject for the meeting on the 3rd October.
As you know we arrange a theatre trip each month. The following trips are fully booked, but if you would like to put your name on the reserve list please come to the Theatre Group desk on Tuesday mornings at the Baptist Church.

A group of 16 Stramblers met on Thursday 15th September at the Saracen’s Head, Halsall, for a walk along the Leeds Liverpool Canal and surrounding footpaths. The weather was a little overcast but pleasant with a promise of some brighter sunshine later in the day.
On Tuesday 20th of September we will be taking bookings for our Spring Bulb-fields visit to the Netherlands. Our five day break will include a visit to the Keukenhof gardens, The Hague, Delft, and Het Loo Palace etc. Single rooms are limited.

On Wednesday 26th October we will travel to the pretty, popular village of Grassington in the Yorkshire Dales. Time to have coffee and a browse round. Then we are off to Leyburn, to the home of family owned Tennants Auctioneers one of the largest Auction Houses in Europe. Here we will have a 2 course lunch followed by tea / coffee and a guided tour etc. behind the scenes. For full details click on Day Trips.
