Hamilton

Last chance for Hamilton tickets on Saturday 9th December at 2.30 pm. Cost £92.50.

There will be no transport organised as it will be much more costly than the train.

It’s a sell-out production in Manchester, so we need to confirm our numbers and let the theatre know. Therefore, if you want tickets we currently have about 6 unallocated tickets. Let us know and pay your cheque by next Tuesday at the Theatre Desk.

Tech and science – Testing AI

Further to the presentation on AI, given last week, we decided to try out the ChatGPT system with some searching questions. Sandy kindly gave me 7 sample queries and the results for the first one are here.

The 20th century witnessed numerous groundbreaking scientific discoveries across various fields. Here are some of the most significant ones:

This is just an extract from the resulting query which gave 1000 words in great detail within seconds. Thanks to Sandy for the interest and input.

Walking Netball Rocks!

Another great night at walking netball.  Don’t think we’ll be ready for the England team anytime soon but we are getting fitter, having a laugh and, best of all, feeling younger.

If you are interested in joining us on a Wednesday evening at 7pm at Maricourt High School call Gail on 07803598477.
