We will start our day with a visit to the popular town of Beaumaris in Anglesey. Set on the Menai Straits with views across to impressive Snowdonia. Plenty to do here. There is the imposing, still unfinished Castle to visit, the Gaol which is now an interesting Museum, a stroll along the Promenade which runs alongside the Straits. Plenty of choice for the all important coffee/lunch breaks. Nice choice of individually owned shops. Then we will board the Sea Safari boat for a trip on the Menai Straits together with a commentary. Passing through wonderful countryside, under the two iconic bridges and through “The Swellies”. You are welcome to bring a picnic, snacks on board.
WHEN? Wed.13th May 2026. Depart 8.30am Ret 6pm. Seats are on sale. Price: £36 includes boat trip. If you are paying cash the exact amount would be appreciated as we are always short of change
