17 members joined the Sunday Strollers on 20th March.  They took to the sea and crossed to Seacombe by ferry.  On their way to New Brighton the group passed the Black Pearl Pirate Ship which is a community art installation situated on the beach near Tower Grounds.

It was originally constructed in 2013 by local artists Major Mace and Frank Lund The group then visited Vale Park, where they were able to look at the Fairy Glen. On reaching New Brighton the group had lunch and then either made their way back to Liverpool by bus or walked back to Seacombe to catch the last ferry home.  This length of the walk was either 3 or 6 miles depending on what route you took home. The next walk will take place on 17th April and will be from Moreton to Hoylake. We will meet as usual at Maghull Station at 10.50.
