Join us for our Christmas Lunch. We will start with a visit to the family owned Golden Days Garden Centre at Wrightington. This is well stocked with a wide variety of choice and will be decked out for all your Christmas requirements.Then we are off to the comfortable Astley Bank Hotel in Darwen for a delicious meal. This lovely Hotel is set in its’ own grounds and has an enviable reputation for good food. There is a good choice of menu. We can relax and enjoy a delicious meal in good company. This is our first Christmas get together for 2 years!
When? Wednesday 8th December 2021. Depart 9.30am Return 4.30pm approx. (from/to the Square). Price £30 – includes lunch. It would be appreciated if you could pay in full in view of the ongoing problem with the Treasurer’s post. The group will restart activities on Tuesday October 5th, 2 pm. at Elsie’s home.

The digital camera group is ready to restart its bi-weekly activities from September at St.Andrews parish hall at 2pm.

The Mawdesley u3a Art Group is staging an exhibition of its paintings and drawings in The Chapel Gallery, Ormskirk from the 2nd to 30th Sept. The Chapel is situated only 40 yards from Ormskirk Bus Station car park (£1 for 3 hours).
