Edward Burne Jones and William Morris, what a collaboration of artistic talents|? Hope to do a trip to visit the beautiful stained glass windows in the Cathedral. £30 including coach and entry. Cost depending on 30 members plus Birmingham Art Galley just a short walk from Cathedral ( free entry ) We learn something every day and I have j done just that. Watching Flog it, one of my favourite Jewelers, Arthur Gaskin has a selection of his and his wife Georgie’s beautiful creations at the Museum. I have been trying to get a tour of this gallery, however it will add a little to the cost. Who cares? When such wonderful art is on show. Not had any confirmation as yet of tour. But we’re going anyway we can always look in awe.
Date February 14th 8.30 am from Maghull Square. Home about 6pm
Make it a Valentines Day date.

Hello all
I have been in touch with Airedale tours once again to request a change of hotel for this Art lovers trip March 2024 or I would have to cancel I have always been aware if its shortfalls and told them from the start WE do not want this hotel. They assure me they will find a good replacement ,possibly a nearby Premier Inn, at the same cost hopefully with b/b and evening meal deal.. The problem is we are such a large group and most St Ives hotels are not able to accommodate so many. I need to know if anyone has a reason not to stay at Premier Inn or similar.
The cost is very reasonable for Cornwall . Itinerary stays the same,
23rd March. a.m Tate St Ives……….. then free afternoon in St Ives
24th March a.m Barbara Hepworth Museum then Trengwainton Gardens.
(Nat Trust) free if a member
Let me know if you are concerned about anything please.
Best wishes, Maureen
