A meeting for walking group members will be held at 11:15 in the coffee room on Tuesday 14th November. The purpose of the meeting is to discuss the way forward ( no pun intended) and to plan the walks for next year. Please can as many members of the walking group attend and bring any potential walks / maps with you.
This group started 20th October and meet at West Lancs College on a Friday morning at 9.30 to 10.30. It takes less than 15 minutes to get there by car and there is plenty of free car parking. People are willing to give lifts so if you are interested come to the Group Support desk on a Tuesday morning or ring 0151 531 0207. Walking Netball is a slower version of the game; it is netball, but at a walking pace. The game has been designed so that anyone can play it regardless of age or fitness level.
