Christmas Concert 09.12.25
Following another excellent year of u3a activities we come to our final event at the church – our Christmas Concert. Tickets have been going well so that we only have a few left. All proceeds go Woodlands Hospice Trust so whilst you have a great morning’s entertainment we will be supporting a cause that does so much for our community.
Don’t miss your chance to get one of our last few tickets!! Last chance is on the 2nd of December as no tickets will be available on the Concert morning.
Hightown to Freshfield 27/11/25
We had a big turn out for today’s walk, with twenty seven meeting at Hightown Station. The weather was quite mild and I soon regretted wearing a warm coat. We set off along a tarmac footpath alongside the railway line and passed the entrance to Altcar Training Camp.
