With the U3A hoping to open in the Baptist Church from September 7th the Computer Group will be available again.
If you need any assistance with your computers, tablets or smart phones you can drop in and see us in the Sanctuary on Tuesday mornings between 10:00 and 11:30 am
We are also hoping to offer one-to-one help again at other times by appointment.

Well, I suppose it had to happen eventually. My trusty ‘weather station’ laptop started playing up. Its a 15 year old unit that just does one job and it just started to shut down.
A quick look at the ‘system event log’ indicated a ‘kernel error – 63’. Oh dear.

I have been playing with some hard disc recovery software after a drive failure. It certainly works , giving 100% recovery of photos on a 2 TB drive that failed.
