This Monday’s ride for 9 Day Riders saw us set off from Lydiate Parish Hall and take the canal bank to the Eldonian Village in Vauxhall and emerge onto the Liverpool Dock Road. A spin across Liverpool’s beautiful waterfront took us to Otterspool and along the promenade and into Sefton Park for our brew-stop. We set off once again and rode into Childwall to pick up the Trans-Pennine Trail to Aintree. Heading into Maghull our ride took us along the Cheshire Lines path and back to our Lydiate start point. A ride of over 44 miles that took in canal bank, promenade, bridlepath and road.
