Future “local history” dates

Sep 4th – Mr Jim Flynn – growing up in Liverpool in the 1950s.
Oct 2nd – Mr Roger Bloxall  – Shall 1 stay or shall I go ? How Ormskirk treated the evacuees from Liverpool in ww2.
Nov 6th – Mr Ray Obrien – “your favourite sit com”, a humorous talk based on the classic comedies of the 60s and 70s

December to be arranged
January 1st new years day: no meeting.

March 5th – to be arranged

Venue:  Lydiate village hall, Lambshear Lane, Lydiate, L312LA
Time: 1st Tuesday of the month.
Time: 2pm and 4pm
Cost £2 The fees for the hire of the hall have gone up.  The speaker will start approx 2.15pm.
The entrance will be e2-oo including refreshments.
