The U3A is aimed at folk not in full time employment and is primarily older folk.
That said, i am sure she will be made very welcome at the Tech group.

I’m enquiring on behalf of a 16 year old girl who is extremely intelligent and loves science. Could she come along? She is very anxious among her peers but comfortable around adults. She would love to go to college one day but needs to experience new people and places first to build up her confidence. She would be accompanied by an adult.
