Liverpool’s Children in the 1950s

Two years ago Pam Russell, an enthusiastic member of our Local History Group and president of the Maghull & Lydiate Local History Society,  appealed to u3A members for help with a new book she was working on Liverpool’s Children in the 1950s. The book has now been published and is available in all good bookshops and on Amazon, including a Kindle edition. Pam wishes to express her thanks to all who responded to her appeal with your memories of every day life in the period and all who offered her encouragement along the way.
